The first step to this is writing a technical specification with a clear description of all requirements and system prototyping. The platform with ecommerce integration is intended to become a productive solution, which as an aggregator does all the analysis and buying steps and accordingly allows to profit from the actions taken. Generally speaking, an Auto Seller Platform is a program for goods search and analysis, statistics generation, and publishing of the most profitable offers to receive a margin from products resell.
Solution
In short, the integrated ecommerce platform is unique. The solution has the following workflow:
- Setting up search criteria (admin). The first step in the process is the configuration of search criteria. In other words, identification of “candidates” for reselling.
- Search execution (admin). The search is based on search criteria. At this stage, goods are selected from the leading American trading platforms and a list of items with the lowest prices is formed. Certainly, the system itself has blacklist functionality. Products from this list are not taken into account by search execution.
- Search results and statistics (admin). The admin gets the list of products with their prices.
- Product publishing (admin). At this stage, the most profitable products are published with the lowest price, including some margin.
- Product payment (client). After the client selects the product to buy, the system checks if this item is in stock on the trading platform. Important to realize that the purchase itself will proceed between the already existing platforms, but not on separate ones. Only after this starts the process of payment for the article. As soon as the payment proceeds, the trading platform receives a transfer and some margin goes to the integrated ecommerce solution.
- Product delivery (client). The delivery is carried out according to the rules of the trading platform, where the item was purchased.
- Product return and refund (client). All the processes related to product return and refund take place between the client and the trading platform following the rules of the respective service.
In addition, audit logs are also available for the admin. Audit logs include information about the products for resell. The tables have the info about products and their statuses (for instance, iPhone 14 Pro Max was published on the Auto Seller platform iPhone 14 Pro Max publication was stopped, etc.) In this view is also displayed the information about the admins, who posted or deactivated items. Besides, the system saves sales history. It includes information about dates, products, trading platform where the purchase took place, actual sell price, and profit from the operation. Additionally, the admins can review each sell session’s details.

Initially, the customer came up to the team with the idea of an ecommerce integration platform. In turn, the team took it to work and made a thorough analysis of its capabilities and possible functionality. As a result, the client received a document – technical specification. This specification included not only technical aspects and basic functionality but also version 1 prototype requirements and mockups.
