The employees in Brazil are paid on a monthly basis on the dates specified in their contract. According to Brazilian law, any work exceeding 44 hours per week is considered overtime.

There are also some optional holidays that are specific to exact regions. For example, Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. If the developers work on a public holiday, they either have double pay for this day or have a time off on another day.
The notice period is 30 days. In some cases, it can be exceeded. After each year of working with the company, 3 days of the notice period are added.
